MENTORING

Mentoring to executive management provides an impartial and experienced source of focused discussion, counsel and support - particularly valuable for some of the more difficult issues involving people or management style.

For young or growing enterprises our mentoring has ranged from regular meetings with the Owner/Managing Director reviewing business progress and plans through a difficult turn-around phase, to focused individual discussions on one sensitive issue.

In larger and more mature organizations mentoring has often been provided to support the CEO's leadership through the changes required for Continuous Improvement. Organization-wide improvement strategies sometimes benefit from a change in management style - where impartial and external advice will greatly increase confidence in pursuing the actions required.

As a Chief Executive, mentoring will be valuable if you need:

  • Counselling regarding your own management style and its impact upon the improvement process.
  • Objective development of the executive team and the management style of individual team members. Individual counselling where necessary.
  • Counselling regarding communication style and practice.
  • Counselling regarding establishing an effective approach to recognition.

INTERIM MANAGEMENT

Organizations are often faced with a need for improved management style and this sometimes necessitates an early change in a member of the management team. Sometimes a gap in the team results from an abrupt departure. Provided that we have a good skills and experience match we can provide you with Interim Management cover whilst the appropriate long-term appointee is being found.

Interim Management assignments are available to clients in the areas of:
