MENTORING
Mentoring
to executive management provides an impartial and experienced source
of focused discussion, counsel and support - particularly valuable
for some of the more difficult issues involving people or management
style.
For young or
growing enterprises our mentoring has ranged from regular meetings
with the Owner/Managing Director reviewing business progress and
plans through a difficult turn-around phase, to focused individual
discussions on one sensitive issue.
In larger and
more mature organizations mentoring has often been provided to support
the CEO's leadership through the changes required for Continuous
Improvement. Organization-wide improvement strategies sometimes
benefit from a change in management style - where impartial and
external advice will greatly increase confidence in pursuing the
actions required.
